Ngapera is the CEO of Figure NZ, a pioneering not-for-profit that makes Aotearoa’s public and private sector data accessible through simple, easy-to-use tools. She is passionate about ensuring all people in Aotearoa – especially Māori communities – can access, understand, and use data to drive better outcomes. Deeply committed to indigenous advancement, Ngapera works closely with Māori business and education initiatives and serves on the boards of the InZone Education Foundation, Simplicity Foundation, and Te Ohu Whai Ao Trust, which connects indigenous enterprises globally. Her career spans roles with Kea, NZTE, the Ministry of Health, the University of Auckland, and MIT, championing equity, opportunity, and data empowerment across Aotearoa.
