Liam Scott serves as Chief Technical Advisor at the National Emergency Management Agency, where he leads the development and integration of critical operational systems that strengthen New Zealand’s readiness and resilience. Drawing on over a decade of experience in defence, communications, and emergency management, Liam has held leadership roles across the New Zealand Defence Force, including operational deployments with the United Nations. His expertise spans crisis coordination, deployable communications, and technology strategy in complex, high-stakes environments. At NEMA, he applies this operational insight to modernise emergency management infrastructure and ensure agencies can respond rapidly and effectively to national events.
