James Little is the Acting Director of the Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Group within the Department of Internal Affairs. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of technology, regulation, and public service following six years in the Beehive advising a Prime Minister and senior Ministers on digital policy. James champions modern digital identity as a catalyst for fairer, faster, and more secure access to services across Aotearoa New Zealand; simplifying interactions with government and business, lifting regulatory compliance, strengthening privacy protections, and helping to close the digital divide.
